I’ve style sneakers a couple of times on the blog, but I think this one is my favorite (so far). The very first time, I styled a pair of classic Reeboks and I was also really new to style sessions and style videos. The second time around, I styled a pair of Keds for summer.
This time, I grabbed a pair of Adidas Grand Court sneakers – a pair I’ve been wearing quite a bit these days. You saw them first in my Amazon athleisure post.
Five Winter Sneakers Outfits
Styling sneakers when you’re petite isn’t always as simple as picking a picture off of Pinterest and running with it. Sneakers can make you look shorter and if you’re like me with a pear shape, they can also make you look a little wider. So, when you’re trying to rock sneakers and want to look a little taller, I think it has less to do with the sneakers themselves and more to do with the pants you wear when you style them. For me – it has to show a little ankle to give the illusion of height. Also, I’m not a fan of sneakers and winter dresses/skirts on me so I didn’t even go there.
With Jeans and a Sweater
I don’t know what it is about this exact pair of jeans from AE, but they are the shortest ones I own (and my favorite). They’re x-short just like all of the other pairs I own, but this style is just a tad shorter and goes with more of my shoes. Although showing this much ankle in the winter may not be for all climates, it works for me here. You could also throw on a cute winter hat or a coat for extra warmth.

With a Moto Jacket
I can’t believe there was once a time I felt like a black moto jacket was too edgy for me. I’ll admit last year I tried to buy one and just every one I tried didn’t feel like me. Maybe it was finding this one with the right fit or just evolving style, but I changed and find myself wearing this thing all of the time.

With Leggings
Leggings aren’t the only kind of pants you can rock with sneakers, but they sure are cute with them! I paired a cozy sweater I snagged from Amazon that you may remember from a post earlier this year. This entire outfit is from Amazon, although not done intentionally.

With an Oversized Flannel Top
My son thinks this headband of mine looks like a “princess hat” and I’m down with it. Y’all know my style is simple so you could totally go without the headband, but I think it’s a fun addition. This oversized flannel top is one of my favorite Black Friday buys and it makes a great layer for a casual day.

With a Sweater Blazer
