Wedding guest dresses are always a highly requested topic. For good reason – they’re not the easiest to find for Petites – especially for more formal weddings. Of course, the options will vary based on the dress code but I wanted to find a few different dresses that were affordable (we most often wear a wedding guest dress once or twice) and didn’t need alterations.

Spring Wedding Guest Dresses
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Petal & Pup
Petal & Pup is a great place to check for wedding guest dresses in general. I find the fit to be great overall, but will point out that almost all of the dresses I’ve tried from them are unlined and look best with shapewear underneath. I personally love Spanx power shorts (not higher power, they’re too long). The dress in this post runs small so I would definitely go up a size. I love that the tie straps can be adjusted to your height (something you’ll see on almost every dress in this post). You can see more Petal & Pup dresses in this post.

VICI
I finally tried a few things from VICI after years of just assuming it would all be too big for me. I was wrong! I found two cute dresses (with lovely adjustable tie straps) and the top in this post. Starting with the pink lace dress. This one runs a little on the small side, for comfort, I would recommend sizing up (and pairing it with Spanx power shorts). In hindsight, I wish I had pulled my hair back with all of these dresses so you could see them better and show off the tie straps.

This floral lace dress is fully lined and has a comfortable fit in XS on me. Again, it has adjustable tie straps and I love the pretty details all over this one. I would go with your true size with this one.

Banana Republic Factory
Banana Republic Factory often has great dressed-up options (that are often budget-friendly). This maxi halter dress fits me well in terms of length. It’s a little snug around my ribcage so you may want to size up if that’s a fit issue area for you. I would suggest shapewear with this one, it’s unlined and a little thin.
