I’m still over here on a sweatshirt kick, buying up just about every one I see. Last week I wore a leopard print one to a doctor’s appointment and the receptionist was like, “oooooh I like that! Is it a sweatshirt?” I said, “yes, ma’am, it’s a fancy sweatshirt!” Being fancy and all makes it acceptable to wear it just about anywhere, in my humble opinion of course.
When I was buying the leopard sweatshirt I mentioned above, I also bought a dolman supercozy one too. The name includes the word, supercozy, which is totally made up, and also totally caught my attention. In the description J.Crew claims it has, “dress-up potential (meaning you can maybe get away with it at the office).” Then in the reviews a commenter said, “it was like wearing a blanket.” So, I was sold.
And, they were all right. I’ve worn it work, it’s supercozy, and it’s like wearing an incredibly soft blanket. The inside is like buttaaaaa. Trust me, you want one. I may even want one in every color, but I’ll try to practice a little restraint.
The Supercozy Sweatshirt Styled Two Ways
It’s not only cozy, it’s versatile. I’ve worn it many ways since it blessed my closet, but for blogging purposes I’m sharing two with you today. One works well now with mild temperatures, and one works great for colder temps.
Flats and Jeans
The first, is for the mild temps, and my favorite way to wear it currently. I style it this very same way with a pair of blue jeans, but I love the combination of black jeans and leopard mules (c/o). The cropped length and dolman sleeves on the sweatshirt make for a simple outfit that’s comfortable but also cute.
Boots and Scarves
I pulled out an old friend for this outfit, the circle leopard scarf that everyone loved a few years ago. I had to ask myself if it was still cool when I pulled it out, then put it on anyway. It’s still cool to me.
I pulled on my boots for a warm and cozy outfit! The boots were an anniversary sale purchase this summer that I’ve been eyeing for months jut waiting to wear. The time has finally come! I love the height of the shaft on these boots, and I also love the color, they’re finally a pair that mesh well with my skin tone so I can also wear the boots with a skirt. They’re pretty darn comfortable too, the heel is not too high.
Shop The Post
A white top is pretty versatile, so you can imagine this sweatshirt can be worn many ways. It’s something I’ve loved having in my closet, and I think you’ll love it too!
