Last week I was all, long live the raw-hem trend, but this week I’m all about another trend – the sweatshirt trend. Ok, I’m about them both, but seriously, who can resist a sweatshirt thats totally on-trend?
Sweatshirt Trend
I’ve had a deep love for a good sweatshirt since middle school. I’ve worn them when they were cool, like when we wore Aeropostale hoodies daily, and when they weren’t all that cool, like my PTA fundraiser hoodie I wear to the grocery store (still cool if you ask me). While I can’t really discriminate when it comes to a good sweatshirt, my favorite ones to wear around the house are my husband’s, they’re huge, they come down to my knees, and it’s the absolute BEST!
But, when I’m feeling fancy, I pop on a sweatshirt with a fun print, sans hood and call myself on-trend. The sweatshirt trend is a beautiful thing.

I found this leopard print gem on Shopbop, and really struggled over choosing the black or olive. You can see I chose olive, but I can’t say I won’t go back for that black! I also asked myself if I needed anymore leopard things, you can tell ultimately I decided you can never have enough leopard. It’s not super thick, more like a heavy shirt, and has a roomy, comfortable fit.
I’ll try to practice some restraint, but I can’t say I won’t buy an excessive about of sweatshirts this season. What about you, is the sweatshirt trend one you get excited about?
