I once wrote a post, once meaning a few weeks ago, about where to buy petite jeans. I mentioned in that post that the word on the street was that Madewell petite jeans were the best, but I hadn’t yet tried them. Well, I tried them, and it’s true, they’re the best.
Madewell Petite Jeans
Although I had never tried Madewell petite jeans, I did once try their regular length jeans, and also a pair of their 10″ rise jeans. Both we’re way too big for me, and the 10″ rise went past my belly button. So, I wrote them off. However, I saw a pair on Poor Little It Girl (who I just recently realized is my height) and they looked perfect on her. So, I decided they were worth another try.
The Best Petite Jeans
She was right, the entire blog universe was right, Madewell jeans are perfect. I have wanted a pair of ripped knee jeans since they starting to become a thing, but sadly every single pair put the knee holes at my shins. Not cute. This is the first pair I’ve tried that actually hits right at the knee. The length is perfect and is a true ankle length on petites. This pair is a 9″ rise, which is much more fitting than the 10″ rise for my short frame. Finally, they are everything people say about Madewell jeans; they’re comfortable, flattering, and don’t stretch out. Plus, the zipper doesn’t gap. I don’t think I own a single pair of jeans that don’t gap at the zipper. For that fact alone – I’m a forever fan.
They aren’t the cheapest jeans I’ve ever purchased, but I think they’re the best investment.
Another thing that hindered me from Madewell at first is the price. They’re not cheap. I like to stay around $50 max for a pair of jeans, so grabbing this pair on sale at $98 was a little steep for my tastes. However, after making that purchase, seeing their quality and of course the great fit – I now feel it’s a worthy purchase and will be one I’ll make again.

Have you tried Madewell jeans, if you’re a petite like me – I highly recommend them!
