I’m not the crafty preschool mom. Whenever there is a party and that sign-up sheet starts going around, I rush to be the first to sign up for the cups and plates. I’m the cups and plates mom or anything pre-packaged, all the way. My neighbor and friend (who also happens to be a Kindergarten teacher) is the crafty mom. Not only is she always crafting the best costumes, she dresses up pudding cups as turkeys for Thanksgiving and throws the best themed birthday parties. I wish I was half as crafty. Our boys are BFFs and Mr. M is always impressed with the creations his bud’s mom sends in. So, I decided that I was going to really up my game for the Easter themed party and take a little inspiration from Ms. Whitney. Ya, know, to do my Mr. M proud. This time around, on that sign-up sheet, I will be marking down for bunny water bottles.

Since, I’m not super crafty, I really wanted to do a trial run with these bottles, so I wouldn’t be freaking out the night before with 30 some half done bunny bottles. Plus, I wanted to make it easy, because I like to take the easy road. I went into InDesign and crafted a digital wrap for the bottles, so I could just print, wrap and go! I’m stepping up my game, but not getting too cray. I’ve included the printable in this post so you can make them too!

I was in Sam’s Club the other day and picked up a 40 pack of Nestlé® Pure Life® Water, #PureLife40Pk.

Bunny Bottle Wraps

I love Sam’s Club, this pack is the same price as a 35 pack anywhere else, but with Sam’s Club, you get five more bottles, woo! I do know, they don’t carry Nestlé® Pure Life® Water in all Sam’s Club locations, so ask your club manager about getting Nestlé® Pure Life® Water in your store, if it’s unavailable.

You can use these wraps on any kind of bottle, but I wanted to make sure I contributed water to the party. I am all about hydration! My number one tip for anyone looking to improve their health and fitness, has always been, drink more water! So, of course, I carry that advice over into my own family. At home, I always make it easy for my children to choose water by keeping water bottles front and center in the refrigerator. In a party setting, especially with as much running around as they will be doing, they’re going to need the water, rather than punch or juice! Plus, the wraps will still make it fun. 🙂

So, first things first, here’s what you’ll need:

Nestlé® Pure Life® Water (or any water bottle)
Printable
Tape (double sided works great)
pom poms (optional)
wiggly eyes (optional)
glue (for optional pom poms and wiggly eyes)

I cut my printable out and glued wiggly eyes and pom poms on a few and let them dry. Once dry, I cut the labels off the bottle, wrapped and tapped in the back! Super easy.

I later decided to omit the additions of the wiggly eyes and pom poms because it was slowing me down with all the gluing and I’ll be honest, half of them were falling off. If you’re ambitious, go for the wiggly eyes, for me.

Bunny bottles, done!

My boys loved them; my two year old laughed and laughed and even drank more water out of the funny bottles, which is always a plus for me! Watch out Easter preschool party, I’m coming for ya’!
