An Honest Review of Infinitely LOFT

Right around six months ago I wrote about my first impressions of Infinitely LOFT. The clothing rental service from LOFT was new at the time and overall I was impressed. Since then I’ve had an off and on relationship with this service and it’s one of those things that has seemed to get even better with time. So, I thought an update was in order.

First, here is the rundown of how the service works.

Infinitely LOFT

Cost: $64.95 a month

Commitment: None! You can cancel or pause your shipments anytime, which is what I did over the last six months.

Shipments: Unlimited, but you can only have three items out at time. I can get about four boxes a month if I wear each thing 1-2 times and ship it right back.

Cleaning: No need to launder the clothes, just ship them back in the prepaid and pre-prepared envelope that comes in your box.

Why I Love It!

When I first started the service I wasn’t sure if I felt like the cost was justifiable. However, if you compare the cost of renting clothes vs. the amount of clothes I purchase and don’t wear enough – it seems justifiable. I love the printed blouses that LOFT comes out with through the seasons and have a closet full of them. However, the BIG however, I often won’t wear them as much as I would wear a basic, staple item. The longer I look at a print, the more it loses its luster for me. So, I love that by renting them, I can keep the prints coming in and out without wasting money or closet space.

The Clothes Seem New

It is a rental service, so I assume it’s being used by other people, but since continuing this service through the months, everything I’ve received seems brand new. With my first box I felt like my clothes were a little worn, but that continues to be a non-issue since that box.

Dresses and Skirts Get The Wear They Deserve

I will wear a pair of jeans 100s of times, but if I buy a dress, I will wear it probably 20 times or less. Most of the time, that is. To be clear, there are many dresses that are classic closet staples that can worn through years, but printed dresses get less wear in my closet. I LOVE printed dresses, so I appreciate that I can rent them through Infinitely LOFT, take them for a spin and return them.

The Discounts

If you choose to keep anything from your box, which I have, it’s deeply discounted! LOFT runs a lot of great sales, but these discounts are typically better. Plus, like I mentioned in my first post, you can often snag something that sold out at LOFT.

Final Thoughts

I really enjoy this service, and recommend it to every fashion loving gal like myself! It keeps your wardrobe fresh and exciting, plus it’s fun filling your virtual closet and seeing what comes in each box!
