After last week’s style session, I asked for some feedback on Instagram on what to style next! The requests ranged from things that are more challenging for me, like shift dresses and midi skirts – to simple things like winter outfits! So, today I took the easy route and styled winter outfits. The skirts and dresses are coming, I promise!
The weather here in VA is all over the place. Some days it’s frigid and other days it’s fairly mild, so I tried to put together a nice mix of outfits I would wear through different winter days. I also stuck with items I wear very often to try and represent my true winter style.
Four Casual Winter Outfits for Petites
The Sweater Blazer
It wouldn’t be a post that represented my winter style without the sweater blazer. Y’all know I love this thing! This outfit also looks great with black or blue jeans, and I love a little cuff of the sleeve with my sweater blazer. You’ll also see that I’m wearing the same booties in most of the outfits, they’re my new LOVE!
Sizing: The jeans are no long available in petite, but I am wearing petite 24 (my typical size at Old Navy). My top is a regular xs and my sweater blazer is a regular xxs. The boots run 1/2 size small.

It’s hard to see in a picture, so you should most definitely watch the IGtv style session to see each piece of this outfit. For a colder day I would wear boots instead to keep my feet as toasty as my top half! However, I frequently wear my flats in the winter.
Sizing: My jeans are petite 24, my tops are all regular xs. My city coat did not come in petite when I purchased it, but it now does! I so wish I had the petite version, it is a little large in the shoulders on me. The flats run 1/2 size large.

Cardian + Blouse
On a mild day I love the combination of a pretty blouse and a cardigan. I don’t often wear long cardigans under jackets because I can’t stand to see them hanging out from the bottom. You may also remember this top from my Infinitely LOFT post!
Sizing: My jeans are petite ankle 24. My top is regular xxs and the cardigan is a regular xs. I wear a nude cami under the top because it is a little low.

Sweatshirt + Jeans
I’m a big sweatshirt fan, give it a print and I love it even more. You’ll see from my videos that I find a roll of the sleeve and sometimes a little tuck, all you need to make a fairly basic outfit, look a little less basic. I would totally wear this outfit without the scarf as well.
Sizing: My sweatshirt is sold out from J.Crew but I’m linking a newer version. I’m wearing a regular xxs.
