You know the quote, “Life is short, buy the shoes”? Well, I did just that. Back in April as I was updating my spring wardrobe, I had my eye out for a pair of floral pumps or flats. I found these beauties at DSW but at $70 they were way above my budget. I searched high and low and while I found a couple other cute alternatives for less, they didn’t quite fit or wow me in the same way this pair did. So I decided to just do it…to “buy the shoes.” I justified my purchase as a birthday present to myself that I could wear during my night out of celebration but also I have a wedding later this summer and thought they would look adorable paired with this midi skirt. While this look that I am wearing today is better suited for a more casual event, I think these pumps, midi and a cute lace crop top would make for a fun wedding look! 🙂
