Casual Summer Shorts Outfits
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Denim Overalls
Overalls are great for a casual outfit. I love this pair from Artizia. They come in white denim and other washes. I’m wearing them here with chunky Dolce Vita sandals and a hands-free backpack bag.

You’ll love this pair from Madewell if you’re looking for white denim shorts that aren’t see-through. They’re true to size and have a comfortable 4″ inseam.

Denim Shorts
This pair of denim shorts from J.Crew has been in my summer rotation for the last couple of summers. I love statement tops like this one from Gap. The top is sheer, so you may want to wear a camisole underneath of it.

Activewear Shorts
These linen shorts from Athleta are another long-time favorite of mine. They’re breezy and great for staying cool. I love the stretch waist and zippers on the pockets. For reference I’m wearing them here in XXS. My exact color is no longer available, but they are still available in other colors.
