Say hello to my last maternity outfit post, featuring a favorite and a classic; chambray. What blogger girl doesn’t love chambray? I mean really, you’ve seen pinterest right, it’s the perfect neutral. Although I don’t love maternity clothes, this top was a leftover from my first pregnancy that I decided to pull out for the last few weeks of pregnancy. I actually like it more this time around than I did with my first pregnancy, but this time around it’s a little snugger, which is totally depressing.
But, for fun and in the spirit of babies…let’s not talk about clothes and talk about stuff toddlers say. Toddlers are brutally honest, once they hit about three and they start having thoughts of their own, sometimes what comes out of their mouth is pretty hilarious. Here are a few of Mr. M’s recent musings:
While watching my mom clean her house, “Nana, your house dirty, you not clean like Momma.”
Teaching mom and dad anatomy, “Dada has nipples, Momma has boobies.”
When asking him why he peed all over the floor, his response, “sometimes.”
His favorite question to ask, “you pooted?”
Now, what sometimes is even more entertaining than what he says, is what he does, like the day I caught him peeing in the dog’s water bowl. He also has a fascination with dumping his crackers on the floor so he can eat them like a dog, just one of the wolf pack I tell ya. He also miraculously stopped eating vegetable one day, this went on for a few months and then the other day, turned into a vegetarian that will only eat broccoli, sweet potatoes, bananas and strawberries, he’s a funny guy.
