Chocolate pumpkin donuts

I found an amazing Instagram account today, @bestbefit. She shared these yummy protein donuts that I just had to try!

For her recipe be sure to check out her Instagram.

I deviated from her original recipe, so I had to document my changes for future reference, because these were amazing!

Mine didn’t turn out nearly as pretty, but super delicious!

For the donuts:

1/3 cup oat flour
1 tbsp truvia baking blend
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp pumpkin
2 tbsp nonfat Greek yogurt
2 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix your dry ingredients, then add them to the wet ingredients. Pour into a donut pan and bake 8 – 10 mins at 350.

For the icing:

2 tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp pumpkin
1 tbsp truvia baking blend
1/2 scoop vanilla shakeology
2-3 tbsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Mix together, that simple. Spread on cooled donuts and be in healthy donut heaven.

This made four for me! Thank you again @bestbefit for the recipe!
