I’m back with the same pair of petite friendly straight jeans I styled earlier this year, but today I’m styling them for spring! 5 Ways to Wear Straight Jeans for Spring

When warmer temps come around, I keep things simple. I’m actually always pretty simple which many of you comment on (in a positive way)! Give me a nice tee with a good fit and a pair of sandals and I’m good to go. I think the outfit looks a little elevated by adding jewelry. I stack my necklaces and wear big earrings pretty often for a little bling.

With Heeled Sandals + Pretty Top

I’m a sucker for anything eyelet or embroidered. This picture doesn’t show the detail on this top well enough, but it has puff sleeves, embroidery and a little eyelet at the shoulders. I think it’s just enough to dress up the jeans with a pair of heeled sandals. These sandals are newer to me and I can’t wait to wear them out once social distancing is over. They’re a pretty neutral and they’re comfortable!

Bonus points if you know how deep my love runs for my gingham button down. We’re going on a few years with this cute top and I’m looking forward to wearing it this spring. It’s a classic top that J.Crew brings back year after year. I don’t often tie tops around my hips because my hips are kind of wide and I think it can look funny on me. However, this top is light enough that it lays just right and, I think, works!

The gingham category is a twofer. Same outfit, I just switched out the shoes for my wedges and knotted my top instead. You can’t tell in the picture but I’m wearing the pink tank top underneath.

Last, I brought out another one of my tried-and-true closet items, the sweater blazer. I think this blazer is THE most purchased item from my blog and I’m glad y’all love it as much as I do. Again, I’m a simple girl, so for this I felt like all I needed was a well made tee and a pair of heeled sandals. I often wear outfits like this one to church and date night! Two things I can’t wait to be able to do again.
