The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the biggest and most blogged about sales of the season. I look forward to their sale every year and go into it with a focus on finding things that I know will serve me well through the fall and winter season. Without a focus, you can do a lot of damage (to your wallet that is) buying into the hype.
I personally stick to looking for things like shoes, bags, jackets and accessories. There are a handful of pants that I think are worthy of grabbing from the sale, but there is not a ton of petite friendly options.
Petite Friendly Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks
Jackets
Last year I bought a cute camo utility jacket that I love! Unfortunately I didn’t find a similar option in this year’s sale, but I did find several great options for moto jackets. If you don’t have one of these in your wardrobe, now is a great time to get one. They go great with just about anything, and you’ll be kicking yourself later if you end up paying full price for one. I already have a couple of suede ones but if I can get my hands on the faux leather option from the sale, I’m going for it! I tend to wear an xs in these jackets just fine.

My all time favorite thing to buy from the sale is shoes! Last year I bought these boots and wore them nonstop. This year they have a similar pair that is included in the sale.

There is also an updated version of my booties from last year that were really popular. They come in the tortilla suede color option I wore most, as well as a snakeskin option!

Also on sale, and totally going into my shopping bag, a great pair of wedge sneakers and a pair of Madewell remi mules. I have a leopard pair that I love and wore here. I think I would like to add a blush pair to my wardrobe this time around!
I also often grab a new crossbody bag from the sale. If I’m going to carry a purse, it’s going to be a crossbody because I like to be hands free. I love Tory Burch crossbody bags because they often have a card holding section inside as well! I’m eyeing this one from the sale.

Pants
If you can snag a pair of Spanx faux leather leggings from the sale, do it! They’re a great price, but I have a feeling they will sell out quick in petite. I styled them multiple ways in this post.
I also linked Zelle cropped leggings. I love the cropped length, which is really nearly full length on my height and they’re a great price from the sale. I also added a pair of petite jeans to try. There is a lot of great designer denim on sale, but unfortunately it doesn’t come in petite.

The sale is now open for some shoppers, and is open to everyone on August 19th! I can personally shop the sale on August 13th. I’ll be sure to share updates if I come across anything else worthy of checking out!
