After I published my last post 1 Top 6 Outfits many of you told me how much you loved that style of post. I always appreciate your feedback and creating things you want to see is what I’m here for! So, I decided to do more of them. Today I’m taking a paper-bag skirt that I first shared in that post and styling it eight different ways for you.
Paper-Bag Skirt
Let’s talk about the skirt first, it’s one of those fun ones you can dress up and down. I’m wearing it in regular XXS and it fits me well. The skirt is lined and has pockets! Just to warn you, the fabric does wrinkle a little with wear. It also comes in other colors, but I love the versatility of the chambray version.
With a Clip-Dot Top
I bought this top late last summer. I was instantly drawn to the fall color, but also loved the overall design of the shirt. It’s soft and comfortable, while still looking a little dressed up. Also a plus, there is no gaping in the armholes and this top doesn’t even come in petite. J.Crew brought it back in other colors this year, so unfortunately my exact yellow one isn’t available. However, I think any of the colors (white, green, and blue) would work well with the skirt! I wear this top in XXS.

With a Gingham Top
I bought this top this spring and first styled it in this 11 Items 20 Outfits post. I love that it’s still available and think it will be a great fall transitional piece to have. I think the sandals I’m wearing in the outfit above would look great with this outfit, but I wanted to show it with the flats in case you wanted to wear this outfit to work. These Rothy’s are new to me, and I’ve been loving them. I bought them in my true size 5 and they’re a little bit snug, but they have stretch to them. I kept my true size because of the stretch but wanted to warn you they do run a little bit small in the point style.

With a Sweater Tank
It’s still very much summer and will be hot for months around here, but like all of the retailers out there, my mind is heading to fall. I’m trying to mix in outfits that work well for the fall transition and this one makes me think of just that. The tank top is still nice for a hot day, but the thicker knit makes it feel fall appropriate also. I paired it with leopard flats, but again you could wear those same flat sandals from above if you wanted to!

With a Blazer
The classic schoolboy blazer is always one of my top picks for Petites. It’s been around for years, fits well, and is affordable. I have it in navy and tan and can wear it in either regular 00 or Petite 0. I also styled this outfit without the blazer and added flats to make it a little more casual and comfortable.

With a White Button Down
This skirt pairs so well with white. I grabbed a relaxed white button-down that I also shared in my recent 10 Items 20 Outfits post. Since my top is relaxed I went with sandals, but if the top was a more classic fit I would wear a dressier shoe.

With a Sweater Blazer
I love these ruffle tank tops from J.Crew Factory. Unfortunately, it is sold out in the ivory shade I’m wearing, but if you’re looking for a top that blends well with the ivory sweater blazer, this camisole top is it! If you love the ruffled neck top, it’s still available in other colors and I think the olive one would look great with this skirt. I wear the sweater blazer in petite XXS.

With a Sweater
This is the original way I wore this skirt in the 1 Top 6 Outfits Post. Chambray is really neutral, just like a pair of jeans, so you can really wear almost any color or print with it!

I plan to keep this kind of post going, so if you have anything, in particular, you want to see styled multiple ways, send me a message and let me know!
