When it comes to finding the perfect pair of jeans, knowing your proportions is key. If you have a 25″ inseam this post is for you.
In preparing for this post, I polled my readers and found that average petite inseams ranged from 24-28″, so this series is going to highlight jeans with those inseam measurements. The jeans in this guide are shown unaltered, and shown how they fit me from the store. The measurements given are from the size I’m wearing; the size is stated with each pair. There may be some variation between the measurement of my size and the measurement given on brand websites due to an increase in inseam length as sizes go up (this isn’t true with every single brand). Brand websites often state average lengths if this is the case.
Petite Jeans by Inseam: 25″ Inseam Jeans
My Measurements
For reference and comparison, I’m 4’10” with a 25″ inseam to my ankle bone. My bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My true size is typically 00/24. I’m pear-shaped based on my measurements because I’m wider on the bottom than I am on the top, but I’m not a dramatic pear. I’m overall proportionate – meaning I don’t have a long or short torso, and my inseam is average for my height.
A 25″ inseam is a perfect ankle bone length for me. For styles like straight, cropped flare and cropped wide – I prefer a 25-26″ inseam.
