Like a good book, when I envision an outfit, how I will style it, I think of where I will wear it and the memories that will be made in it. This dress, like most of my summer wardrobe, is easy to throw on and light, perfect for days spent playing with my sweet boy.

You see, there is nothing I enjoy more in this world than watching my son discover something new. Play dates with him are always the high points of my week. He’s two, so meeting new friends, seeing an airplane soar through the clouds and spotting real live choo choo tracks, as we bump through a railroad crossing, are all moments to be celebrated to him. His eyes light up, he squeals with delight and informs me repeatedly of his new discovery, momma, water, water, water!! I know these moments will soon be gone, he will grow up and just like me, be less excited by the everyday occurrences. So, for now, I will soak up every last bit of wonder with him, squeal with delight when I spot something as simple as cows grazing on a farm and find pleasure in the newness of everyday.
