I have to admit, I’m slightly gingham obsessed. Which I will also shamefully admit up until a couple of years ago I had no idea this stellar print was called gingham and would often refer to it as, checkered or worse picnic table print, embarrassing. I have since become oh so educated on this fabulous print that to me is what leopard is to accessories, the ultimate neutral. Coming up Southern I have always gravitated to the Southern preppy vibe and I can’t think of anything more preppy than gingham; well maybe if you monogrammed it or monogrammed it on top of a Lilly Pulitzer print and then put it on a bow tie, that then would be the ultimate southern preppy.
So when I ordered about six of these ASOS maternity dresses that are the most comfortable thing ever and needed to come up with different ways to style my wardrobe repeat, it wasn’t a question to pop one on top of a trusty gingham. You would totally laugh knowing that under the dress, I couldnt button my shirt all the way over my piggy belly!
Prepare yourself to see this dress in many colors on the blog, maybe with a jacket, a vest, tights on an on.
Kidogo Kidogo fashionably makes a difference, which we love. Each purchase of a phone case, results in Kidogo Kidogo sending a woman in Tanzania a mobile phone. We take it for granted around here, but the impact that a phone makes on these women’s lives is amazing. Head over to their website to read stories about women they have helped!

I love gingham and the idea behind Kidogo Kidogo. It’s true. We do take what we have for granted. I love how this reminds us to appreciate what we have, and to help others enjoy what we have everyday.
(p.s. I had the same issue with houndstooth. Didn’t know what it was for the longest time!)
That asos maternity dress is SO pretty! I can see why you bought multiple pairs. I love how you styled it with the gingham top underneath. And of course loving the leopard flats. Great look!
