Earlier this year I wrote a post with a few travel outfit ideas for spring break. Today, I’m back with a few more for summer! Still comfortable, but with shorts to beat the summer heat!

Summer Travel Outfits
Sizing Reference: I’m 4’10” and around 105lbs.
Denim Shorts
I love wearing denim shorts, especially with a longer inseam for less ride-up. You could opt for jeans if you’re going on a plane that may be a little chilly, but I added the cardigan for those A/C situations.

T-Shirt Dress
My personal favorite for travel is a comfortable dress with some length on it. Great for curling up in the car and sitting for long periods of time. I’m wearing this dress in Petite XS and it fits true to size.

Romper
In my opinion, not every romper makes for great travel wear, but this one does. Although you still have to take it down from the top for bathroom breaks, it snaps at the neck so it’s easy to pull up and down. I also wear a sports bra with mine (the back is open), which adds to the comfort. It’s comfortable all around and doesn’t ride up or bunch in any area. You could bring along a cardigan for some warmth in the car or on the plane.

Athleisure
Athleisure is always a great option for travel. You could go with leggings (or bike shorts if they’re your thing), but roomy athletic shorts are comfortable too. I love this sweatshirt for its comfort, but it also has a little style to it which I appreciate.
