When I was little I lived and breathed for American Girl Dolls. I started out with a Samantha doll, then my collection grew to…just one more, just like me doll. Every Christmas for a good solid 5 years, I asked for accessories for my beloved dolls. Little dresses, mini campers and swimming pools, picnic supplies and doctor kits. I treasured each and every piece. I loved it so much that when I outgrew my dolls, I packed them and all of their trinkets away to pass down to my little girl, or in the case that I had two boys, a little girl I love, one day.

Then there was the year I got a sherpa style pullover. It was red and green plaid, and by today’s standards, pretty hideous, but I LOVED it. I think I wore it nearly every day that winter.
As I entered my teens and 20s, my gifts turned into Coach bags, vibrant red coats and MAC makeup brushes.
One of the very first Christmas gifts my husband gave me, was a pair of diamond stud earrings that he put on a stuffed cat. He gave me the cat and made me look a little further to see that this gift was much more than a plush toy.
Some people see things as just things and Christmas as a time to get more things, but I have to tell you, each and every one of those things, are something I treasured. Many of them, I still have today. Those diamond earrings, those makeup brushes, the vibrant red coat and even a Coach bag or two.
Keep Track Of Your Holiday Treasures
When you treasure something, you want to be sure you’ll always keep track of it. So, whatever you gift someone this year, add a Tile too. We have a Tile for Maddox’s book bag, and we love it! It’s so fun looking for the bag on the app and I wont lie, we’ve even had a little fun with it too.
In case you missed my first post, a Tile is a bluetooth tracker you can hook to just about anything you love and track it on your phone; new Christmas treasures, your favorite stuffed animal and even your keys and wallet. Every time the Tile is in reach of your phone, it records it. So, if you happen to lose the item, you can see where it last synced with your phone and go on a hunt. When you get close to your lost item, you can ring it. If you have your Tile, but not your phone, you can also ring your phone with your Tile!
I’ll be stuffing Tiles in stockings and attaching them to packages as a fun little way to help the people I love, keep track of the gifts they treasure.
Who would you gift a Tile too? What is your most treasured gift?
