Can you believe that in just two short months, my baby bird will be turning a year old??? Since the moment I peed on that stick, my life has been a whirlwind of awe and excitement. No doubt there were plenty of ups and downs along the way but not a day has passed where that that sweet girl hasn’t managed to put a smile on my face. 🙂
While recently searching jewelry on Uncommon Goods I came across this handmade mother bird necklace, which was the perfect keepsake for this special part of my life. If you have never been to Uncommon Goods I highly recommend checking them out! They offer everything from unique jewelry pieces to designer décor. You know sometimes when you don’t realize how cool something is until you experience it firsthand? I always knew Uncommon Goods was a great place to snag super cool gift items but what I didn’t realize until I started spending more time on their website was how much good they are actually doing. Half of their items sold are made by hand with a third of their collection incorporating recycled and/or upcycled products! Most jewelry, home décor and table top items are made right here in the good ole US-of-A and they strive to feature items that were created without harm to animals or people.
