boy4

Our house is about to be wild x 2! Twice the gross humor, twice the rowdy and come potty training time, twice the pee all over my bathroom floor. I couldn’t be more excited! Maddox called it all along, every time we asked him if he thought the baby was a boy or a girl, he would say, “baby, boy, like me!” He knew best for sure and is so excited to be expecting a little brother.

Now, the fun begins, since we’re expecting another boy I am going to put all of my focus into creating a new big boy room for Maddox and transitioning his current room back to a nursery, I’ll be sharing my plans for that soon, lots of DIY and decorating on a budget will be going on.

Now onto an update:

How far along? 21 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I haven’t weighed myself since last week, according to my tracking I was up roughly 7 lbs, but at my visit, the Dr. said I was only up 3, I’ll take it!
Sleep: Still sleeping pretty well.
Best moment this week: Finding out we are expecting another little boy!
Movement: Still lots of movement. Some of the kicks are starting to get pretty aggressive too. Surprising since at 20 weeks when I was pregnant with Maddox I was only feeling little tiny flutters.
Symptoms: Intense hip and inner thigh pain, making it difficult to walk. I feel like a cripple! Still holding strong with at least two weight training workouts a week and overall activity on most days, like easy walks, but somedays the pain in my legs really gets to me!
Food cravings: I’m still not craving too many things, but with the start of November I instantly start thinking about how glorious Thanksgiving is going to be. Do I over indulge on Thanksgiving? You can bet I do! Then I work it off with an all night shopping binge.
Food aversions: Onions, rice, the smell of greasy food or onions, fish. I’ve been doing a lot of crockpot cooking lately so I don’t have to deal with cooking smells, on our menu this week is a pot roast, chicken chili and buffalo chicken breast, mmm.
Gender: Boy!!
Labor Signs: Nope!
Belly Button in or out? Coming out! I didn’t feel too large until I was standing next to one of my friends who is due within a week of me and is much smaller, yeah, I felt pretty large and in charge then, haha.
What I miss: Starbucks!!!
What I am looking forward to: Pulling out all of the baby things from the attic and getting ready for baby!

Thanks for reading, excited to share Maddox’s toddler room plans with you next!
