How To Wear Barrel Jeans Through All Seasons

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

My goal for this post was to give ideas and demonstrate how different styles of jeans look with different shoes and layers through the season, so you can decide how you would like to wear them.

When it comes to a pair of barrel-leg jeans, I have found I like the Pieced Barrel-Leg Jeans from Madewell to be the best balance for me. The leg is relatively slim and not overly dramatic and wide. The 25″ inseam can be worn with flats, sandals, and boots. It’s definitely not a style that makes you look tall if you’re petite, but if you want to try the trend, I say go for it. I chose a white pair because it’s what was in my closet, but the dark and black wash options available in these jeans would also look great with the outfits.
