My goodness, a Target dress that actually fits me. It’s rare. So rare, that I almost stopped ordering Target dresses all together, but I took a gamble based on the length measurement of this dress and it paid off.
This dress is basic and comfortable. You could wear it around the house, to the pool, or even dress it up. I love the comfort of a basic t-shirt dress, but the straight cut isn’t very flattering on me. T-shirt dresses tend to either stick to my hips or be so shapeless I’m totally lost in it. So, I think this babydoll fit is a nice alternative. You get that cotton t-shirt feel, with a more flattering fit.
1 Dress 4 Ways
With a Kimono
Same kimono from yesterday’s style session getting a little more wear! I think the two pink tones blend so nicely. When you’re looking for a petite friendly kimono, look for ones that come in sizes rather than one size fits all. I’ve yet to find an actual petite kimono, but looking for midi or shorter styles in small has worked for me.

With Chambray
I think one of my favorite ways to change the look of a dress is by adding a different top. This chambray top is easy to tie and layer, but I think this dress could also be cute with a t-shirt on top and knotted in the front.

With a Blazer
It’s the white blazer again! This outfit is like business on top, comfort underneath. Perfect for those WFH Zoom meetings!

With a Denim Jacket
Adding my trusty denim jacket and a couple of necklaces for this look. My wedges are sold out, so I’m linking some similar options for you. I not only love the way espadrille wedges look, they’re comfortable and last for years! I highly recommend them for any girl’s wardrobe.
