I’m a floral kind of girl. Prints speak to me. So, when I saw this simple t-shirt in the cutest navy floral print at LOFT, I knew it needed to be mine. On this particular day, I was wearing it for a little adventure with my hubby.
Lately, my hubby has been my photographer. Although Erica and I always had the best time during our photo sessions and she is still totally willing to take blog pictures for me, it’s been fun and adventurous having Steven take the pictures for me. There is no one on this earth that I am more comfortable with than him. He has seen me at my best and at my very worst, so I feel like it doesn’t matter how silly I look, he isn’t going to care. I try to be a little more candid with him, which often makes for great pictures. These pictures in particular aren’t the best, in my opinion. It was high noon, sun blazing and there was some old dude creeping around in the background, which made me highly uncomfortable. But, I chose to keep these pictures because of where they were taken.
Even after nearly ten years of marriage, my husband still surprises me. He has been coming up with all of these locations that we just have to take pictures at. He’s a railroad man so most of these locations run near the railroad. This little park along the river, was one of the places he wanted me to see. I’ve lived in this area my entire life and had no idea there was a park in this particular spot. So, on that very sunny day, it was a little adventure for us and something new for me to see. We didn’t give the beautiful spot justice with these pictures, because well, old dude was creeping me out. But, come spring when the trees are in full bloom, it will be a darn beautiful place to revisit.
Have you been on any adventures lately?
