Over the last month I’ve been in the process of updating my wardrobe. Since last spring I was preggo, most pieces I had in my closet are either the few tops I bought last spring to accommodate a growing bump and everything else was from multiple seasons past. There were several items on my checklist that I have been slowly crossing off (thank goodness for an accumulation of gift cards that I had been holding on to until I could decide what I wanted to do with them). One of these items was a pair of light wash jeans, preferably in a boyfriend style. For over a year I’ve had my eye out for a pair of non-distressed boyfriend jeans that didn’t fit me in a way that looked like I was wearing “mom jeans.” I knew what I had in mind but couldn’t ever seem to find anything that matched my criteria. Then I came across this pair of jeans at Gap and just like in life, the girlfriend came through. What I liked about these jeans from the moment I tried them on was that while they have a relaxed fit, it isn’t super exaggerated. I’m a fan.
