Three years later, gone are the days of nursing, rocking and ‘shhhh’ him to sleep. Now, he has full blown conversations with me, cracks jokes and does squats with mommy. Like all parents are of their children, I am in absolute awe of him and am enjoying every day I get to watch him grow and learn just a little bit more. This year, he will become a big brother and our family will learn more new lessons and our hearts will grow even bigger; I can’t wait! So, even though he can’t read any of this, happy birthday my sweet boy, you are and always will be my greatest treasure.
Since today is a day of celebration, it was only fitting the post would feature one of my favorite items this season, my utility jacket. I find myself reaching for this so often and at the moment, can still zip it over my bump! Another plus, it is long enough to hide long maternity tops, something many of my jackets are lacking at the moment.
