In today’s post I’m styling five petite-friendly outfits for work, one for every day of the week. All with a different color scheme and ready for summer.

One Week of Outfits for Work

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Monday

For Monday’s outfit I put together an easy-to-throw-on pleated skirt and satin petal sleeve top. The skirt is the Twirl skirt from Artizia. It’s a longtime love of mine that was included in my winter workwear capsule. I wear the skirt in XS, but it starts at XXS, so I sized up. For a less expensive option, this Amazon skirt is another pleated skirt I love.

Tuesday

In Tuesday’s outfit, I used another winter capsule piece, the Perfect Wide-Leg Pants from Ann Taylor. For winter, I paired these with boots, but for summer, I went with slingback heels and a sleeveless top. In petite the pants have a 28.5″ inseam. For me that length works with a 1-2″ heel, but remember your own inseam is what is important when comparing the fit of pants. We can be the same height and have different proportions.

Wednesday

On Wednesday we wear pink. The top is a shade of pink, but close enough. In this outfit I’m wearing crepe wide-leg pants from Ann Taylor. In petite, these pants have a 30″ inseam, which is too long for me, even with a 3″ heel. So these may not be “alteration free” but they’re still great pants overall and worth a hem. They’re fully lined, easy to care for and wear crepe, and have a beautiful fit. I paired them with a dusty rose silk top from Quince. In XS, this top is oversized on me, but it works well with outfits when tucked in.

Thursday

On Thursday, I went with navy wide-leg trousers, another winter capsule piece. I paired them with slingback heels and a ruched top from LOFT. The LOFT top does come in petite sizing, but not in this color, so I opted for regular instead, and it’s a good fit.

Friday

Finishing the week with the same easy outfit combination from Monday, in different colors. I paired a Twirl Skirt in dusty purple with navy for a rich color combination.
