I try to be fabulous, but I am very much a mom through and through. I spend my days chasing boys, cleaning up messes and running errands. I’m not only a mom, I’m mostly a stay-at-home mom. So my wardrobe has become far from fancy. But, I love to find pieces that are easy to wear, keep me covered when I’m toddler wrestling and still make me feel like me and my former fancy self. Which leads me to the star of today’s post, this PinkBlush striped dress.

PinkBlush Striped Dress

PinkBlush is a trendy online boutique for women. They carry a full selection of women’s clothing, and maternity clothing, that makes this momma’s heart happy. When I first spotted this dress on their website it hit everything on my checklist; length, color and coverage. Plus, the icing on the cake, the drawstring makes it adjustable! Y’all know I have fit issues and this drawstring makes the dress adjustable to my size! The dress is also fully lined so there is no see through action. It’s mom uniform worthy. My mom uniform is a simple pair of jeans or shorts, an easy to throw on top and a comfortable pair of shoes. When I’m feeling fancy, I throw on a simple dress like this one and a pair of comfortable shoes. There was a time in life I thought the higher the shoe, the better. Now look at me, letting comfort take the wheel.

Where To Wear It

This striped dress is going to be worn a lot this summer. I’ve already worn it to a baby shower, to church and to just run errands. While it can’t be dressed up but so much because of the casual drawstring, it’s the perfect casual everyday dress. Something I can wear to the playground without getting the, she’s overdressed side eye. This dress would also make an awesome pool coverup. It’s so darn comfortable, I’ll probably wear it around the house too.

How I Styled It

This dress is laid-back, so I kept my accessories laid back. I wore a simple pair of studs and my all-time favorite sandals. Don’t mind the dents in my big floppy hat, it’s only a week old and has already been a victim of my toddler. That momlife.

Before I go, I have to mention my sweet hubby and his photo taking skills. I asked him to try some new angles, so he laid in the street for me, so I could look tall. That’s when you know you’ve got a good one. 😀

I hope you ladies have a lovely Monday, thanks for reading!
