I’ve written a lot of posts over the last five years here at Pumps and Push-Ups. With each one, I put in the effort, sit back and analyze my work and hit publish for the world the see. Each and every time I’m hoping you will like it just as much as I do. However, we all know, that’s just not the case. Some posts go live and fizzle out almost the same day, while some take on a life of their own. I’ve found over the years, that the ones that go on to have staying power often are the ones I never expected to at all; while the ones I convince myself are golden, just don’t make the cut. While I’m sure this blog will never quit surprising me, for the purpose of today’s post, I’m talking about a few spring and summer outfits that had a little bit of popularity on Pinterest.
Pinterest Popular Spring and Summer Outfits You Can Recreate Now
To keep things Pinterest proper, I’m sharing the photos that were repinned. For what it’s worth, the pictures without my face tend to be the most popular – I get it y’all, you don’t want to see my face.
Seersucker
Although I loved this dress, and the outfit in general, I didn’t like these pictures when they were first posted. Steven takes all of my pictures and we are always trying to master photography, which is still very much a work in progress. These pictures were a little grainy, which I didn’t like one bit. But guess what? Pinterest didn’t care. This was one post I didn’t expect to be popular and was surprised by. This Seersucker dress is from The Mint Julep Boutique, from last year (but it’s still available through the link). Here are a few other seersucker dresses you can wear now. You can find the original post here.
The Eyelet Top
Tired of this eyelet top yet? Apparently Pinterest thinks it’s just as cool as I do. This was one pin that gained popularity straight from the first pin, which I’ll be totally honest, is very RARE for me. Of course, I titled it ” Affordable Straw Bag”, so is it the top or the bag? Maybe the bag? If you’re after the bag, it’s from Amazon, and it took a good month to arrive. I’m guessing it had to ride on a few boats from China to arrive on my doorstep, but it’s affordable and pretty great. Find the original post here.
Lilly Skirt
Maybe it’s the tan skin, but more than likely, it’s the Lilly Skirt. Whether you’re a Lilly fan or not, there are hoards of southern girls that love their Lilly. I don’t wear Lilly often, but the pineapple print of this skirt is one of my favorites, plus the pink and green combo has always been fun to me. Find the original post here.
All kidding aside, when something I’ve worked so very hard to make just right gets a little attention, it’s the ultimate compliment to me. So for my readers that not only read my posts, but pin and share them too, I can’t thank you enough, you don’t even know how much it means to me! These few posts happen to be some of my popular spring style posts, but in reality, my most popular posts on Pinterest are reviews, fitness posts and how-tos! Where any of these a favorite of yours too?
