Mint Julep Dreaming Of The Sun Dress
Nothing says summer like a little seersucker dress. I was browsing the Mint Julep Boutique and this dress popped off of the screen at me. I mean, it’s seersucker and has bell sleeves! Plus, it’s modest, making it easy to wear just about anywhere. The dress isn’t lined and is really lightweight, but I didn’t have any see through issues. When I wore it to work, I wore this slip under it just to be safe. As far as fit goes, I would say this dress is true to size. I’ve never been much a hat girl, but I’ve been stepping outside of my box lately. I first grabbed a big floppy hat for the beach, that my kids subsequently destroyed. So, I picked up this one at Target, thinking the slightly smaller brim would be a little more durable. At first, I felt kind of silly and maybe a little like a farmer in the hat, but the more I wear it, the more I love it. It has a cute blue and white striped band that matches this dress perfectly! I wore my Sugarfix earrings and if you really pay attention to these photos, you’ll see I carried two different bags. I was going to carry my pom clutch at first, but as soon as I saw it photographed, I decided to grab my trusty tote instead.
