Poolside Reading List
I love classic summer love stories. Especially young love stories. Maybe it’s because they take me back to my younger years or remind me how much fun summer is when you’re a teenager, but YA books are my favorite! This summer I’ve been poolside, flipping through the pages of these fun stories –

Summer Rental - Poolside Reading List

Summer Rental Mary Kay Andrews – Ok, I tell you I love young adult novels and the first one on my list is the opposite of that. But, this book is a great story about the summer a group of 30 something women spend in a cottage on the Outer Banks. Divorce, lost jobs, pregnancy, proposals and a little mystery too, each woman is going through something a little bit different in life. Through the summer and with each other’s help they find themselves. This novel is a fun, heart felt read and has everything I love in a story; love, friendship and laughter.

Amy and Roger's Epid Detour - Summer Reading List

Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour Morgan Matson – This young adult novel is about the summer that Amy and Roger take a cross country road trip. What starts out as a forced union on sad circumstances ends up teaching both Amy and Roger something about themselves and each other. This book had me smiling the whole time!

The Unexpected Everything - Summer Reading List

The Unexpected Everything Morgan Matson – Dealing with the loss of her mother and her father’s high profile career, Andie has a summer full of unexpected twists and turns that put her right where she needs to be. I loved the happy ending of this story!

Did I Mention I Love You & Did I Mention I Need You Estelle Maskeme – This is a series of three books (the third comes out in December) about Tyler and Eden’s forbidden summer love as siblings! Two different summers and ups and downs will keep you hooked on this love story. I can’t wait for the third book to come out!

What have you been reading this summer?
