The Fall Skirt You’ll Want to Wear Now and Later

I’m a modest girl at heart, so I always gravitate toward midi and maxi length skirts, but you just can’t beat the fit of a mini skirt when you’re petite. I’ll note this skirt is not petite, so if you’re on the taller side, it may be just a tad bit too mini for you. If you’re short like me, you’re going to love how tall this skirt makes you feel.

You’re also going to love how incredibly comfortable it is. This skirt has an elastic waistband in the back, and a generous fit, which makes it so comfortable. Sometimes elastic waistbands can be tight and uncomfortable, but trust me when I say, this skirt is not that way. You just may like the price too, holla at me J. Crew Factory – keeping it affordable.

J. Crew fall outfit idea, from a petite style blogger.

Y’all this skirt is just so nice, I styled it twice. Since fall is just around the corner, I’m showing off a sweater I recently picked up J. Crew that has me all types of excited for cooler temps. It’s definitely not cool enough for it yet, but you ain’t a a true blogger until you wear a sweater in the dead of summer. I’m kidding, but yeah it was hot this day. This sweater is actually a great transitional thing to have, it’s on the lighter side, perfect for early fall temps, and the ruffle collar – oh so sweet.

Life has been busy for us lately and we’re all adjusting. My little guy isn’t having the easiest time transitioning with back to school and it has this momma feeling a little sad. Nothing worse than seeing your baby unhappy, but raising babies isn’t always easy. I’m thankful for things that make other parts of my life easier, like getting dressed for more days at the office, in a skirt that feels like wearing a good pair of pajama shorts. I’m going to love wearing it now, and of course into the fall.
