When the temperatures drop, I always reach for pieces that are warm, practical, and classic — and Quince continues to impress me with high-quality options at affordable prices. From outerwear to cozy knits, their pieces perform beautifully while still fitting my 4’10” petite frame.
Today I’m sharing a few of my cold-weather favorites from Quince that I’ve been reaching for this season — all warm, timeless, and petite-friendly.

Cold Weather Favorites from Quince
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Responsible Down Puffer Coat
If you’ve been eyeing the Aritzia Super Puff Coat, this one from Quince is the best alternative I’ve found. The Responsible Down Puffer Coat looks nearly identical to the Original and Shorty Super Puff styles from Aritzia, but at a much lower price point.
It’s made with responsible down insulation and rated to keep you warm down to -48°F, which is incredible for a coat at this price. I honestly can’t tell a difference between the two brands in terms of warmth, material, or construction — the only distinctions are that Aritzia offers an extended XXS size range and additional styles like the Supersnug and Mid lengths.
If you’re shopping for a petite-friendly puffer coat that performs in the coldest weather, this Quince version is truly a winner.

100% Organic Cotton Fisherman Sweater
When it comes to sweaters from Quince, the cotton options are hands-down my favorite. They wash beautifully, don’t pill easily, and feel soft and substantial without being scratchy.
The 100% Organic Cotton Fisherman Sweater has a slightly oversized fit and longer sleeves, which gives it a relaxed, cozy feel. I’m wearing it in XS in the color Speckled Beige. It’s one of those sweaters that looks effortlessly classic layered over jeans, trousers, or even under your favorite coat.
If you prefer a more structured or fitted look, you could easily size down — but I personally love the easy drape of the true-to-size fit.

Cashmere Gloves & Scarf
One of the best things about Quince is their cashmere. Their cashmere gloves and scarves are soft, warm, and made with high-quality Mongolian cashmere — but at a fraction of the price of other luxury brands.
The gloves fit my small hands well and even include tech-friendly fingertips on the thumb and pointer, which means you can scroll your phone without freezing your fingers. The matching scarf is lightweight but warm, perfect for layering with puffers or wool coats.
These are pieces I’d recommend for both gifting and everyday wear — they elevate any outfit while still feeling practical.

Jersey Cotton Long Sleeve T-Shirt
Every cold-weather wardrobe needs a solid base layer, and this one from Quince is my go-to. The Jersey Cotton Long Sleeve T-Shirt has a slim fit that tucks in smoothly under sweaters, coats, and vests.
I love how the collar lays flat — it doesn’t stretch or lose shape in the wash — and it keeps its structure after many wears. This is the kind of layering piece that quietly makes all your cold-weather outfits work better.
If you’re building a capsule wardrobe for winter, I highly recommend picking up a few of these.
