Please excuse me while I go back in time and fix the part in my hair before these pictures were taken. Did you notice? Probably not, but it’s staring me in the face. I’m really fabulous and do wardrobe changes in the car for photo shoots. So by the last outfit, sometimes I end up looking a hot mess and my husband gets tired of dealing with me. That not so glamorous side of blog life. If you couldn’t tell, this outfit was the last one photographed on that particular day.
All For Color Fit and Flare Dress
Flat hair and messy parts aside, let’s talk about this classic black and white dress. This All For Color dress is going to be a closet staple for me. I mean every girl needs a black and white striped dress. It’s a ponte knit blend, so it’s a nice weight and not one bit see through, despite being mostly white. Sometimes when I see ponte, I think of that slick, sweatshirt/bathing suit material and it scares me away. However, this material feels like a heavy weight cotton, it’s nice! The dress does not come in petite, but runs true to size. I’m wearing an xs, but it is a little bit large for me up top. Real talk, I would probably wear a spanx slip under this dress next time. Although it is a nice weight, if I could slim down that post baby belly a bit under it, that would be even better! No shame in my spanx game. What I love the most about the dress is its classic fit and flare shape and that I can wear it to work and to church. It looks great on its own and under cardigans and jackets.
