So, I recently cut my hair y’all. It’s a big deal for me because for most of my life, my hair has been pretty long and I have always worn it the same way. Despite the amount of braids and buns on my pinterest board, I rarely do anything to my hair other than curl it or straighten it. Except maybe if you count this summer I got adventurous and tied it up in a top knot a lot. I know, I’m really talented in the hair department.

So, when I decided to cut my hair, I scoured my boo, Pinterest, for hours until I settled on a long bob. I loved the pictures of the long bob worn in a lived in look, but I wasn’t quite sure I could pull it off with my lack of hair skills. Thankfully, I have a bomb hair gal (hi Erica!) who gave me the rundown of how to style a lived in look. She showed me the technique with a flat iron which is how I’ve been able to achieve it. Until recently, when this cool little curling wand from Irresistible Me showed up on my doorstep and gave me an all new way to achieve my waves.

Their Sapphire curling wand comes with a base, eight different attachments and a glove so you don’t burn your fingers off. There are different traditional barrels in different sizes as well as tapered barrels and my favorite the pearl wand. The pearl wand intrigued me the most, because until now, I had never heard of one and it’s great for those lived in waves I’m all about right now. Curling wands are perfect for this look because it’s easy to leave the ends undone.

Now, to prove to you how easy this wand is to use, here is a little how to, done by my non hair styling self!
