As part of my fall capsule wardrobe for petites, I included a pair of cream flare corduroy pants from J.Crew. I wanted to include an option other than jeans and show you how a flare style would blend with the capsule pieces. I landed on this soft white pair of corduroy pants; they’re warm and easy to pair with other fall tones like burgundy, navy, and tan.

Casual Fall Capsule Wardrobe Series: Flare Corduroy Pants 8 Ways

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

J.Crew Corduroy Flare Pants

In petite sizing, the pants have a high 10.5″ rise and a 29″ inseam. On my 4’10” frame, the length only works with heels, which is why I styled them in the capsule exclusively with heeled boots. As I’ve said before, heels + flares is a combination that makes your legs look so long! These pants are thick, warm, and not the least bit see-through in cream. They are overall true to size, but low stretch. On my pear shape, they are a little snug through my hips and thighs, but loosen with wear. If you’re looking for a shorter option, the Lizzie Pants from J.Crew Factory also come in a cream option and they have a 28″ inseam.
