Five Outfits for Work with Brown Wide Leg Pants

In today’s post, I’m sharing five ways to wear brown pants to work. In this post, you’ll find a mix of outfits you can wear with heels and boots as the weather cools. I’m restyling the same pair of chocolate brown trousers I included in my Fall Workwear Capsule Wardrobe. They were sold out when I originally shared the capsule, but have since been restocked! I’m excited to share a few more ways to wear them, especially if you picked up a pair after seeing them in the capsule.

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Banana Republic Factory Wide-Leg Pants

The pants I’m styling in all four outfits are the Wide-Leg Double Weave Pants from Banana Republic Factory in chocolate brown. I chose these for my fall workwear capsule because they’re a classic style that can easily be mixed and matched with different tops, sweaters, and blazers.

I’m wearing them in Petite 00 and find them to be true to size. They have a comfortable fit through the hips and thighs without pulling or feeling too tight, which is something I especially appreciate with my pear-shaped figure. Some of my readers mentioned needing to size down in these pants. If you’re not curvy, you may want to try a size down. Many of my readers also chimed in with how high quality these pants feel, and I couldn’t agree more – especially for their under $50 price point.

The fabric is substantial with a little stretch, they’re comfortable but polished.
