It’s a hot topic, what are you wearing for Easter? Something, pastel, something lace or maybe you’re just going light with your accessories. Well, in case you were wondering, this is what I’m wearing for Easter.

When I saw this lace dress at Nordstrom, I knew it would be perfect for Easter and also a wedding and a bridal shower I have coming up. Throw a jean jacket on and sandals and it also works as a casual dress.

I just all around love this dress. I first ordered it online in my typical size, but when it showed up, it was soooo small, like I couldn’t even zip it. So, I ordered the next size up online and opted for Nordstrom’s in store pick-up. A quick exchange later that day, led to the perfect fit. This dress also comes in white, which is oh so pretty too! Since I wanted to wear mine to a wedding and a bridal shower I figured it was better to avoid white.

Easter Sunday we will be at church. I have the pleasure of teaching a Sunday school class for 2-3 year olds every few weeks, but for Easter Sunday we are all coming together to throw a big party for the kids. Complete with bubbles, egg hunts and the cutest craft that I found on Pinterest. I truly enjoy talking about Jesus with these little people, so I’m really excited to spend time with all of them on Sunday!

After church, my family is coming over to our house for lunch and my Mimi is making her famous banana pudding. She makes it every year and I also eat nearly the entire thing in a day, every year. Don’t judge. I should stay away since, well, I’ve been shorts shopping lately and it hasn’t been going well…but banana pudding is a tradition. Not to go off on a tangent, but what is up with shorts lately?! Like the styles that are out are just killing me, either too tight and long or too short, no happy medium. I did order a pair from Nordstrom that I’m praying work for me, fingers crossed!

Another thing I’m really excited about is seeing my old Easter dress on my niece! Since I don’t have a little girl of my own, my mom was dying to pass my Easter dress on to Erica’s daughter. I’m so excited to see her in it. Don’t worry, come back Monday and you’ll get to see it too!
