Outfit Making Tops

For my fans of simplicity, here are four spring/summer outfit ideas with jeans and an outfit-making top.

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

I didn’t film any video reviews for my content this week. I came back from Spring Break sick and this week has just been a struggle.

Scalloped Top

The first top in the post is an Amazon find that greatly surprised me. I’m used to almost everything on Amazon being too big for me, but it doesn’t stop me from trying. I ordered this top in XS, and it’s a perfect fit! I would never guess it’s not petite sizing. It’s a sheer top that I will wear a camisole under.

Embroidered Vest

This vest is a step outside of my personal style – but I love it! It’s another surprising Amazon find. This $20 vest has a perfect fit (I’m wearing it in XS here). I plan to layer it over t-shirts and dresses. I love the blue and white colorway, but it has ten different options.

Avara Top

I found this top at Avara. I wish everything fit me at Avara because they have the cutest things, but sadly, I have a mixed experience with fit. I find winning pieces here and there, but most of the items I’ve tried have been too big overall. In a recent order I found this top and two other dresses! The top has a great fit. It is fully lined, so it’s not see-through, and is a nice length overall. It dips a little bit at the armpits, but not too much to show my bra.

Crochet Top

I found this crochet sweater at Ann Taylor. I love the patchwork pattern and classic navy and white color combination. It’s true to size overall, but it dips down low at the armpits and is see-through. You could wear it without a layer underneath, but I’ll be wearing it with a white or nude camisole.
