Summer Outfits by Color: Pink & Purple
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Linen Shorts
I bought the Stratus Shorts in navy, red, and white. There are more color options as well – and, to be honest, I love the shorts so much that I could go for a few more colors. The shorts are true to size; I wear them in XXS. One thing to note is that in white, they are lined, making them not see-through! The other colors are not lined, because they don’t need to be.

Cotton Mini Dress
I found this dress at Nordstrom. It’s not petite, but I love the fit! It doesn’t gape at the arms, is fully lined, has pockets, and functional buttons. In XXS, this dress is wide without the belt – the belt draws it in and gives it a full skirt.

Breezy Tank Top
If you live somewhere that is super hot and/or humid – this top is for you. It’s made from lightweight, pre-crinkled cotton that will keep you cool. Since it’s lightweight, it’s slightly sheer, but can be easily worn with a nude bra or a camisole underneath for added coverage if preferred. The tie at the chest is functional and can cinch in and adjust. I also bought this top in light yellow, and the lighter color is more see-through than this printed option. I paired it with a pair of denim shorts from J.Crew. The shorts are stretch denim with a 4″ inseam, they have minimal ride-up and to me, are a comfortable everyday pair.

Active Shorts
Speaking of hot and humid, I also love wearing moisture-wicking active shorts in the summer for staying cool and dry. I prefer a 4″ inseam, with a polished look and no lining. I found this pair on Amazon from the CRZYOGA brand. They have a stretch waist and fit me well in XS. The shorts are “Red Merlot” but were in the purple family enough for me to include them in this post. My cropped tank top is from Athleta. It has a great fit at the arm openings and a true cropped length on me. I’m wearing it in XXS.
