Maybe they’re mauve, perhaps they’re rose pink – whatever you want to call the color of these pants, I’m styling them five simple ways for work today.

Five Outfits for Work with Mauve Pants
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Crinkle Crepe Wide Leg Pants
I love the crepe pants at Ann Taylor. The fabric always drapes nicely, doesn’t wrinkle easily, and is comfortable to wear. Ann Taylor named this pair a unique color, “burnt mauve”. I think it’s a beautiful shade for your spring and summer wardrobe. The pants are true to size overall, but I would size down if you’re between sizes. In petite, the pants have a 29.5″ inseam, which is quite long for me. I can make them work with a 3″ heel. While the length isn’t perfect for me right from the store, the unique color and fit are something that makes them worth a hem.
Mauve Pants Five Ways
To make this outfit spring and summer appropriate I went with a sleeveless top and a lightweight linen blazer. The top is a polished option that looks great worn on its own, if you’re able to go sleeveless at work. I’m wearing it in Petite XXS, but it is a little bit snug on me at the chest – so you may want to size up. The blazer is a J.Crew blazer that has been on my blog many times now. You may recognize it from my Spring Workwear Capsule Wardrobe. It has a perfect fit, I wear it in Petite 00.

This outfit is simply the one above without the blazer. You could classify it as an outfit, but I mainly wanted to show you what it looks like without the blazer.

I went sleeveless here, which I know isn’t an option for everyone, but a welcome cool option for others. Vests continue to be trendy this season and are often worn independently. This one is a little too low-cut to wear to work without a top underneath, so I wore it open over the jersey boatneck top from Quince that I love.

This oatmeal sweater J.Crew Factory is a wardrobe staple for all seasons. Since it’s a sweater, it is warmer but still lightweight and can work in warm temperatures. I love the soft neutral color and the polished look it gives.

I’ll always love a monochromatic look. It’s polished, but is also a little trick to look taller. The sweater I’m wearing here doesn’t come in petite sizing, but it’s a great fit in regular sizing.
