Petite-Friendly Amazon Dresses

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Wedding Guest Dress

This dress makes an excellent option for a wedding guest. It’s petite-friendly, thanks to the adjustable tie at the shoulder. I’m wearing this dress in a size small, and although it’s a little bit roomy, it’s still a good fit overall. The dress is fully lined.

Eyelet Dress

This eyelet dress is fully lined with a comfortable smocked top. The straps are wide enough to wear with a regular bra, and it’s not see-through at all. I’m wearing it in a size small here. It is also available in a few other color options.

Gingham Maxi Dress

I was pleasantly surprised that this dress fits me well, considering how long it appears on the model. The dress has stretch straps, a smocked top, and a tiered maxi skirt. It’s unlined, so it’s a bit sheer; I recommend wearing a slip with it. For size reference, I’m wearing it in XS.

Tiered Dress

This tiered dress is a classic Amazon find. I’m sure you’ve seen it before, but in case you haven’t, or you’ve been curious how it fits petites, here it is! I’m wearing a size small here, and the style and smocked top make it a good fit for me. The dress is unlined but not sheer.

Maxi Dress

The meant to be midi dress that’s a maxi for petites. I first shared this dress in a series of posts for teachers last year, and I still stand behind it being a great option for teachers. I’m wearing it in XS. It’s also unlined, but not sheer. I recommend laying it flat to dry, as it doesn’t fare well in the dryer.
