My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Monday

Starting off the week with a dark green suit from Ann Taylor. This matching set is a gorgeous color for fall, and overall, the fit is petite-friendly, but it may require a few alterations.

The blazer fits me well through the shoulders and body, but the sleeves are long, so I’m wearing them pushed back. The pants have a high rise with a slim fit through the hips and thighs. They work for me in my true size, but I think a curvy fit would suit my proportions better since they’re a little snug through my hips and thighs.

The biggest callout is the length. These pants have a 30″ inseam in petite sizing. I’m wearing them with a 3.5″ heel here, and they could still use a hem on me. Even with the extra length, I think this set is worth a little tailoring for the gorgeous fall color.

Tuesday

For Tuesday’s outfit, I went with another pair of pants from Ann Taylor in a gorgeous fall color. The fit notes are similar to the green pair—they run slim through the hips and thighs and are quite long for petite sizing with a 30″ inseam. As much as the 30″ petite inseam frustrates me, I’ll move on! The fit otherwise is gorgeous, and I think they’re worth a hem if you’re exactly the same inseam as me.

I paired the pants with a striped button-down, also from Ann Taylor. I’m wearing the top in standard sizing in 00, and it fits me well (I’m wearing the sleeves cuffed).

Wednesday

For the middle of the week, I went with a skirt and blazer combination. The skirt is from J.Crew Factory, and I’m wearing it in size 00. It fits me well overall with a little extra room at the waist, but I actually like the extra room because it keeps the skirt from clinging. I think the length is great for work, but it’s also a piece that can easily be styled more casually.

I paired the skirt with a cotton cashmere tank top from Quince and a blazer from J.Crew. The blazer has a great petite fit, as J.Crew blazers often do. It’s true to size and very well made, with a longer, modern fit and a slightly drawn-in waist that gives it some shape. The fabric also has a little bit of stretch.

I finished the outfit with heels, but it would look just as great with loafers or ballet flats.

Thursday

For Thursday’s outfit, I went with a cotton dress and a cardigan draped over my shoulders. You could also wear the cardigan for a little more sleeve coverage.

The dress runs small, so I recommend sizing up. It’s fully lined with pockets on the skirt and has a great fit under the arms. I paired it with heels here, but it’s another dress that would look just as great with ballet flats for a comfortable workday option.

Friday

I finished out the week with a pair of cropped flare pants from J.Crew and a blazer from Ann Taylor. The pants are the Kaya Pants from J.Crew, and they run slim through the hips and thighs, so I recommend sizing up if you’re curvy. In petite sizing, they have a mid 9.5″ rise and a 25.5″ inseam, which gives them a great cropped length on me.

I paired the pants with a chocolate brown draped top from Quince and added more brown with my heels and belt. The blazer is from Ann Taylor and is made from a crepe fabric that isn’t prone to wrinkling. It’s true to size overall, but the sleeves run long on me.
