If sneakers work for your office dress code, they’re a comfortable option for commuting, walking throughout the day, or simply giving your feet a break from flats and heels. For today’s post, I’m styling a sleek pair of sneakers from Quince with three petite-friendly outfits for work.
The Quince sneakers have a low-profile shape that works well with trousers and jeans without making the outfits feel overly casual. They’re soft, flexible, and comfortable to wear. I recommend going up a half size for a little extra room and a more comfortable fit, especially if you’ll be wearing them for long periods of time.

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Outfit 1: Ponte Pants + Short-Sleeve Sweater
For the first outfit, I paired the sneakers with wide-leg ponte pants from Banana Republic Factory and a green short-sleeve sweater from Ann Taylor.
The ponte pants are a great option for work if you want the comfort and stretch of ponte with the look of a trouser. They have a clean front and a slim wide-leg shape that pairs well with the low-profile sneakers.
In petite sizing, the pants have a 10″ rise and 27.5″ inseam. I’m wearing Petite XXS, and they’re true to size for me.
I paired them with a green short-sleeve sweater from Ann Taylor. I’m wearing XXS, and it’s true to size. The simple, fitted shape of the sweater balances the wider leg of the pants and makes this an easy outfit to wear to a business casual office.
Fit Details:
- Banana Republic Factory ponte pants: Petite XXS
- Rise: 10″
- Inseam: 27.5″
- True to size
- Ann Taylor short-sleeve sweater: XXS, true to size
- Quince sneakers: I recommend sizing up 1/2 size

Outfit 2: Wide-Leg Jeans + Blazer
If jeans are appropriate for your workplace, pairing them with a blazer is an easy way to dress them up while still wearing sneakers.
For this outfit, I’m wearing the Bella Relaxed Straight Jeans from Quince. Although they’re called a relaxed straight style, they have a wider, relaxed shape that works well with the streamlined sneakers.
The Bella jeans have an average high rise of 10.5″, although the rise varies slightly by size. In the size 24 I’m wearing, the rise is closer to 10″. I’m wearing the Short length with a 28″ inseam.
I like the longer inseam with sneakers for a relaxed, full-length look. I paired the jeans with a blazer to add structure and make the denim and sneakers combination feel more polished for work.
This is an easy outfit formula to recreate with different blazers throughout the season: relaxed jeans, a simple top, a structured blazer, and sleek sneakers.
Fit Details:
- Quince Bella Relaxed Straight Jeans: size 24
- Rise: approximately 10″ in my size
- Short inseam: 28″
- Relaxed fit
- Quince sneakers: I recommend sizing up 1/2 size

Outfit 3: Palazzo Pants + Short-Sleeve Sweater
For the last outfit, I paired the sneakers with the Crepe Drape Palazzo Pants from LOFT and a simple black short-sleeve sweater from Ann Taylor.
The LOFT pants have the widest leg of the three bottoms in this post, with a soft, drapey fit. They’re true to size and have an 11.5″ rise and 27.5″ inseam in petite sizing.
The 27.5″ inseam works with my sneakers, although the pants do bunch slightly at the bottom because of the amount of fabric in the wide leg. I don’t find that I step on them when I’m walking, so I’m comfortable wearing this length with sneakers.
Since the pants have so much movement and volume, I kept the top simple with a fitted black short-sleeve sweater from Ann Taylor. The slimmer top and sleek sneakers help balance the wider silhouette of the pants.
Fit Details:
- LOFT Crepe Drape Palazzo Pants: true to size
- Rise: 11.5″
- Inseam: 27.5″
- Wide, drapey fit
- Ann Taylor short-sleeve sweater
- Quince sneakers: I recommend sizing up 1/2 size
