From casual relaxed denim shorts to outfits you can wear to work, my recent Abercrombie order yielded a nice mix of petite-friendly summer outfits.

Summer Outfit Mix from Abercrombie

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Mid-Rise Linen Pants

My mid-rise fans are going to love these 9.5″ rise trousers. In short they have a 28.5″ inseam, and are overall true to size. The linen on the pants is soft and thick, so they’re not see-through. I woudn’t consider them to be see-through, but in butter yellow I would recommend wearing them with nude undergarments. If trendy yellow isn’t your favorite, the pants also come in two other color options. The included belt is detachable, but the belt loops are skinny, like the belt. The sleeveless top I paired them with is double lined and a little bit compressive. I’m wearing it in XXS, but if you want less compression, I recommend a size up.

A-Line Shorts

The A-Line Shorts have a relaxed fit, comfortable mid-rise, ample thigh room, and a 4″ inseam. The denim is low stretch, but since they’re a relaxed fit, they’re very comfortable! I’m wearing them in 24 here. This medium wash I’m wearing in this post has sold out, but keep an eye on this style for restocks and new washes. I paired them with a lace trim top. The top is cropped with a swing fit. I find it to be true to size overall, I’m wearing it in XXS here. I love the details on this top, but find it to be a little sheer, so keep in mind you’ll need to layer it with a camisole or wear a nude bra – whatever you’re most comfortable with.

Mid-Rise Bootcut Jeans

These mid-rise bootcut jeans are a classic slim bootcut style. The denim is thick and has light stretch, but a size-up would be the most comfortable overall. They are offered in extra short, but I wasn’t able to grab my size in that length, so I opted for short. In short, they have a 30.25″ inseam, which is a little long on me, but can work with heels. They have a comfortable mid-rise that I know many of you will love.

Sloan Trousers

The Sloan Trousers are a classic wide-leg style from Abercrombie. They have a high rise and in short, they have a 28.25″ inseam. I can wear them bunchy with a pair of flats or with a pair of heels. The Sloan Trousers in general are a favorite of mine. I think they’re a well-balanced wide-leg style, that isn’t too wide and drapes nicely. I have them in a few colors and love this navy and white pinstripe option.
