Blue Summer Outfits for The Office

I love blue workwear. It’s polished, classic, but a little warmer than black. Blue is perfect for summer workwear. In today’s post, I have four business casual outfit ideas for work with a touch of blue.

Blue Summer Outfits for The Office

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Crepe Skirt

The crepe skirt from my Summer Workwear Capsule surfaces again. In this outfit, I paired the skirt with a navy and white printed linen top that I found at Nordstrom. The top has a dolman fit and pairs beautifully with skirts and pants.

Twirl Skirt & Regal Vest

I love the combination of a tailored vest and a pleated skirt, especially monochrome. This is the Regal Vest from Artizia. It has a slim tailored fit that is perfect for petites. I find the vest to run small, so I recommend a size up. For reference I am wearing it in 0. I paired it with the Twirl Skirt, also from Artizia. The Twirl Skirt is fully lined with a stretch elastic waist. It starts at XXS, but I find XS to be the most comfortable (I have a 24″ waist).

Satin Skirt

The dominant color in this outfit is orange, but the floral print on the skirt has a touch of blue. The skirt is a perfect fit for petites. I find it to run true to size, and I am wearing Petite XXS. I love the comfortable stretch waist. It’s unlined, but not sheer. I paired it with a satin top that I found at Nordstrom. The top fits me well in XXS.

Perfect Wide Leg Pants

Last, I paired the Perfect Wide Leg Pants from Ann Taylor with a dolman fit sweater top. The top has a subtle orange and blue floral print. At the time I purchased it the top didn’t come in petite so I bought XXS. It fits well enough but petite would be a better fit if you have the option.
