Last week I pulled out my LOFT leggings, sweater vest, and the Old Navy striped top I can’t stop talking about; and put together the most comfortable outfit for work, ever! My office environment is on the casual side, so sure, this may not work for all environments, but it works for mine, and I’m sure glad it does.

LOFT Sweater Vest
Let’s start with the star of the outfit, the sweater vest from LOFT. This vest is soft, warm and since it’s nice and long, makes it possible to wear leggings to work. It’s amazing, just saying. It doesn’t come in petite, and comes in a xs/s, m, l/xl sizing, so I wasn’t sure how it would fit on me, but I was pleasantly surprised. I can also see wearing this vest with dresses, skirts, over a button down, etc, etc…the list goes on. It’s versatile and one of those pieces you’ll want to wear over and over again. Ponte leggings are also something you’ll grab over and over again. They are thick, comfortable, and not one bit see through.
Life Lately
This big guy turned 6! Have I really been a momma for six years?! Totally blows my mind. That birthday party of his that I was nervous about went off without a hitch and was so much fun. I couldn’t get many “real” smiles out of him for his pictures, mostly the “lemme me see your grill smile” and the sneak of a smile I caught below. Such a sweet silly guy!
Y’all, after about six months, I finally had my hair cut! I’ve had my hair done by the same fabulous girl for the last eight years and she moved earlier this year. Which left me without a stylist and I’ve just been pretty much afraid to try someone new. So, I’ve been letting it be for as long as I could stand it, but it was starting to just look a little dull and of course, in need of a trim. I gave someone else a try this past week and love the result! I don’t put a lot of color on my hair, just a glaze to shine it up and deepen my natural color a bit, but it feels good! Fresh cut hair is the best.

Now that the big birthday is past, I’m looking forward to the holidays, already planning out some gifts and amping up for B Friday, you know! Anyone else as excited as I am?
