Their petite activewear offers some of the best fit, quality, and proportions for shorter frames.
In today’s post, I’m reviewing five petite-friendly pants from Athleta, including four pairs of joggers and one slim straight style. All of these Athleta petite joggers are comfortable, well-proportioned, and versatile enough for workouts, travel, and casual everyday outfits.

Athleta Joggers for Petites: The Best Fits for Short Women
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
The Endless Pants
I’ll start this roundup with the one slim straight style included. The Endless Pants are lightweight, breathable, and offer a more polished look while still being incredibly comfortable. They’re a great option for travel, casual outfits, and even work—several teachers have told me these are a favorite for the classroom.
The tailored feel comes from the slim straight leg, faux fly, and sleek zippered pockets. They’re a pull-on style with a flat waistband that doesn’t dig in. I find them to fit true to size, though I’m wearing a size up (Petite 0) here since my usual size wasn’t available, so they’re slightly roomy on me. In petite, the pants have a 25.5″ inseam, which isn’t quite as cropped on me as shown on the model—but I love the length and overall look.

Crosstrain Joggers
The Crosstrain Joggers are a lightweight option that works well for workouts but can also be styled casually. They feature a cinched waist with an adjustable drawstring, zippered pockets, and elastic cuffs at the ankles. I find them to be true to size, and in petite they have a 25.5″ inseam. The weight of the fabric is best for warm weather, I look forward to wearing these this spring and summer.

Venice Joggers
The Venice Joggers were the first pair of joggers I truly fell in love with. After what felt like an endless search for joggers that were well-proportioned for my frame, these were exactly what I had been looking for.
The Venice Joggers have a slim fit without feeling skin-tight, with a high rise that sits above my belly button. The waistband is flat and comfortable, and the fabric feels similar to leggings, which makes them easy to wear year-round. In petite, they have a 25.5″ inseam and I find them to be true to size.
To note, I have tried the wide-leg and straight Venice pants as well and they were a little too long for me.

Brooklyn Joggers
The Brooklyn Joggers have a polished look similar to the Endless Pants, making them a great option for travel and casual outfits. They’re lightweight and especially comfortable in warm weather. Like the Endless Pants, they feature a faux fly that gives the appearance of zippered pants, while still being an easy pull-on style with a flat, comfortable waistband.
The Brooklyn Joggers also have a cinched jogger leg, similar to the Crosstrain Joggers. They start at Petite 0, which is a size up for me, so they fit a bit roomy on me overall.

Coaster Luxe Joggers
The Coaster Luxe Joggers are soft and cozy. You can wear them out casually, but I prefer them as comfortable at-home loungewear. I’d describe them as lightweight sweatpants—they’re warm and fleecy without feeling heavy.
The fleece lining does lose a bit of its softness after washing, but they’re still very cozy overall. They have a high rise, and in petite they feature a 25.5″ inseam. I find them to be true to size.
