If you work in a casual office, I’m sharing three outfits in today’s post that strike that balance between relaxed and professional. They’re all petite-friendly and shown unaltered on me at 4’10”.

Three Casual Outfits for Work (Petite Friendly)
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Slim Wide-Leg Pants for a Polished Casual Work Look
The Emmy Pants from Madewell are a slim wide-leg style made from 98% cotton with 2% elastane for a touch of stretch. I try on a lot of pieces each week, and these were easily my favorite—they’re such a good fit. They’re comfortable, not see-through, and the color is a really nice in-between blue that’s not quite navy.
I’m wearing them in a 24 Short, which has an 11″ rise and a 28″ inseam. I can wear them with flats, but I especially love how sleek they look with a low heel.
I paired them here with wedge heels and a dolman top for an easy, casual work outfit.

An Easy Drawstring Skirt Outfit for Work
In this outfit, I went with a drawstring skirt from Nordstrom. It’s fully lined with a subtle spring floral print. I’m wearing it in Petite XXS—the waist is a bit roomy, but adjustable thanks to the drawstring.
I paired it with a sleeveless chambray top and added a cardigan sweater over my shoulders, which you can easily throw on indoors when needed.

A Classic Denim Midi Skirt for a Business-Casual Look
Before I took Pumps & Push-Ups full-time, I worked as a medical office manager at a small internal medicine practice with a business-casual dress code. I remember reaching for a denim midi skirt all the time, so when I found this one at Gap, it felt like a throwback to that phase of my wardrobe. My old skirts were from Gap, also, so even more so.
I’m wearing the skirt in my true size, Petite 24, and it fits me well. It’s not sheer and has a bit of stretch, which makes it comfortable for all-day wear (and sitting).
I paired it with a button-down for a more professional feel, then added a belt and neutral wedge heels to help keep the leg line long.
